Ind vs Aus 4th Test: Bumrah achieved an Incredible Milestone

Jasprit Bumrah registered a mind-blowing record by taking 200 test wickets with the best bowling average.

4th test Day 4, Melbourne: During the second inning of the Match, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah registered a milestone. Bumrah completes his 200 Test wickets in the 44th test match against Australia. Pakistan’s leg spinner Yasir Shah is at the top of the list for achieving this record in 33 Test Matches.

Now, Bumrah is the 2nd Indian bowler to register his name in the 200-plus wicket-takers club. Remember, bowling all-rounder  Ravindra Jadeja is at the number one position and joined the 200-plus wicket club earlier.

Jasprit Bumrah is the 1st Indian bowler to achieve this milestone with the Best bowling average of 19.56 per wicket. Considering the bowling average, Bumrah is top of the list with 19.56. The milestone came out after he dismissed Australia’s aggressive batter Travis Head ( 0 off 7 ) in the Second-inning of day 4.

However, Bumrah is the first bowler to concede least runs for 200 Test wickets. On day 4, at tea time Australia was 135-6 after Jasprit’s attacks. Alongside Muhammad Siraj’s fiery spells pushed Australia to lose their wickets.

At the end of day 4, Australia is ahead by 333 runs, having a last wicket in pocket. Nathan Lyon (41 off 56) and Scott Boland (10 of 65) are on the crease. 

Jasprit Bumrah has taken 4, Muhammad Siraj 3, and Ravindra Jadeja 1 wicket.
