With New Zealand already sealing the series by winning three out of the four matches, the final T20I carries a different kind of significance. Pakistan, seeking redemption, will face a confident New Zealand side eager to assert their dominance. Despite being a dead rubber, this match still holds plenty of pride for Pakistan.

New Zealand, even with a second-string squad, has displayed impressive depth and resilience. Openers Finn Allen and Tim Seifert have been in explosive form, both boasting strike rates above 180. Mark Chapman has been a solid presence in the middle order, often delivering crucial knocks at number three. Stand-in captain Michael Bracewell has provided important finishing touches, ensuring their batting unit remains reliable.

On the bowling front, Jacob Duffy has been the standout performer, leading the series with 11 wickets in four games. Ish Sodhi has also stepped up in the absence of Mitchell Santner, anchoring the middle overs with his experience. Matt Henry remains sidelined due to a shoulder injury, but Zakary Foulkes and Will O’Rourke continue to offer balance to the squad. Given their overall dominance in the series, New Zealand will be confident heading into this final clash.

PAK vs NZ: for Pakistan

Pakistan, on the other hand, has struggled with their inexperienced batting lineup, which has been their biggest drawback in this series. Even Hasan Nawaz’s record-breaking century in the third match couldn’t bring the consistency they needed. Mohammad Haris has failed to capitalize on his chances at the top, struggling to make a significant impact. In the bowling unit, Haris Rauf has been Pakistan’s standout performer, but Shaheen Afridi’s underwhelming form has been a majorconcern, managing just two wickets in four games. Abrar Ahmed has offered support in the spin department, but his expensive spells have added to Pakistan’s woes.

Although this match holds no impact on the series outcome, both teams still have a point to prove. New Zealand will look to finish on a high with a commanding 4-1 win, while Pakistan seeks to restore some pride and offer their fans a reason to celebrate.

Wellington’s Sky Stadium

This stadium is known for its high-scoring nature and short boundaries and tends to favor aggressive batting. With conditions expected to be slightly on the cooler side, batting first might provide an advantage by adding scoreboard pressure.
