The Titans, handed the hosts their first loss of the season while achieving their second consecutive win. It was a well-rounded performance from GT, dismantling an RCB side that entered their first home game full of confidence.

Chasing a moderate target of 170 in Bengaluru, Gujarat Titans maintained the upper hand throughout the match. Their openers played cautiously at the start, evaluating the conditions before picking up the pace. Though Shubman Gill fell for just 14, Sai Sudharsan once again demonstrated his quality by anchoring the innings with another crucial knock. His 75-run stand with Jos Buttler put Gujarat firmly in control, with Jos Buttler providing the explosive strokes needed to complete the chase.

Sai Sudharsan narrowly missed a well-earned fifty by just one run, but Jos Buttler ensured the chase remained smooth. Buttler went on to complete his half-century, and with Sherfane Rutherford at the other end, he finished the game comfortably, securing the victory in style.

Gujarat Titans started aggressively, causing early trouble for RCB by reducing them to 42/4. Just as things looked bleak, Liam Livingstone and Jitesh Sharma stepped in to stabilize the innings, building a crucial 52-run partnership. Livingstone then accelerated, displaying his power-hitting skills to reach a valuable fifty, while Tim David’s late onslaught helped RCB finish on a respectable 169.

Mohammed Siraj stood out with the ball for Gujarat Titans, claiming three key wickets, while Sai Kishore contributed with two dismissals in the middle overs.

RCB vs GT: 1st Inning

For RCB, it was a forgettable game as their batting collapsed early, and their bowlers struggled to apply pressure. Despite some promising moments, they fell short in crucial situations and will need to regroup quickly. For Gujarat Titans, it was a nearly flawless performance, although their fielding weaknesses remain a concern they must address.
