It’s two wins in a row for the Mumbai Indians! Things seem to be clicking again at Wankhede as the team gets its campaign back on track.

This was a solid all-round performance, with MI keeping the threatening Sunrisers Hyderabad side under control for most of the match. But with only two wins from seven games, SRH’s chances of reaching the playoffs are now hanging by a thread.

After a slow beginning in the opening overs, Mumbai’s top order began to settle in, with Rohit Sharma looking particularly sharp. He started well but was dismissed by a full toss just as he was finding his rhythm.

Ryan Rickelton and Will Jacks took over from there, stabilizing the innings and ensuring the chase stayed on course. After Rickelton got out for 31, Suryakumar Yadav injected some urgency.

Jacks added a crucial 36 before falling, and it was then down to some big hits from Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma that brought Mumbai close to the target. However, with the scores level, Mumbai lost two quick wickets in five balls, which dented their net run rate.

SRH VS MI: 1st Inning

Earlier in the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to post a competitive score on a pitch that wasn’t easy to bat on. Abhishek Sharma gave them a solid start, although Travis Head struggled to get going.

Heinrich Klaasen (37) and Aniket Verma’s (18) efforts towards the end added valuable runs, taking the score to a competitive level.

For MI, Will Jacks stood out with the ball, claiming two wickets, while the rest of the bowling attack each picked up one, Except for Deepak Chahar and Mitchell Santner.
